Boy Scout Troop 303 honored Roger Clayton Greer III (Trey) for reaching Eagle Rank at the Court of Honor held Jan. 17 at Camp Hope. Trey is a junior at Lumpkin County High School and the son of Georgia and Roger Greer of Dahlonega. Trey and his family have enjoyed every minute of this shared adventure and are looking forward to life’s next stepping-stones ahead, said Trey’s dad....

Eagle Project: Cory led a crew of volunteers and scouts that built picnic tables for the Chestatee Wildlife Preserve. Charities such as church groups needed places to sit when they got tired or threw parties at this preserve.
